1781078 - RFC/JCO In Data Federation Works in clustered BI Enviornment

Symptom

The programIDmapping ID in Data Federation Administration Tool entry looks like this: MySia.AdaptiveProcessingServer=DF_JCO_MYHOST

In clustered environment (two or more nodes) if one of the node goes down , Data Federation Administration Tool will not be able to connect to BW system, because in programIDmapping only one ID is defined.

Once you stop the server, for e.g. Node1 you will receive the following error message:

Cannot update the configuration for connector (DFA 60004)[Data Federator Driver] No RFC destination was defined for the server Node.AdativeProcessingServer.
