1781748 - Server Diagnostic errors after installing BPC NW 7.5 SP14 on the .NET server - BPC NW 7.5

Symptom

After installing BPC NW 7.5 SP14 on the .NET server, the installation runs fine but the following issues are encountered afterwards:

  • When opening the SAP server Manager, the following error message is displayed:
    "Cannot connect to Planning and Consolidation web server. Please check your Planning and Consolidation web server and your IE proxy."
  • Errors when running the server diagnostic in SAP Server Manager:
    - SAP ABAP Server Connection / Database Connection / Status: ERROR
    - Microsoft Message Queue / Queue Name: bpc-dev-web\privaye$\bpcstatusmessagequeue / Status: ERROR
  • Each time SAP Server Manager is opened, errors are generated in the Windows Event Viewer of the .NET server:
    - In the 'Application' section of Event viewer:
    "Exception information:
    Exception type: HttpException
    Exception message: Could not load file or assembly 'rscp4n, Version=1.0.4631.5571, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800736B1)"
    - In the 'System' section of Event viewer:
    "Generate Activation Context failed for c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files\osoft\9073cae4\47c8d51\assembly\dl3\a81e6cf0\0022f57f_849ccd01\rscp4n.DLL. Reference error message: The referenced assembly is not installed on your system."
