SAP Knowledge Base Article - PublicSymptom
After clicking on "personalization", when creating a publication the following error message is displayed "please wait while the document is processed" followed by a "http 404" error message after 10 minutes.
Environment
BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1
Cause
The personalization screen is not displayed because the report application server is not processing request
Resolution
If the report application server fails to process requests, try resolving the problem by doing any of the following:
- Disable/re-enable the report application server
- Restart the report application server
- Create a new report application server
