1783078 - Upgraded Data Services from 3.2 to Data Services 4.x and now receiving a lot warnings on DQ transforms in the error log

Symptom

  • Upgraded and a lot of bogus warnings are filling up the error log making it hard to pick out any actual errors in the job.
  • Had defined a transform and changed the best practice input or output fields on the newly defined data quality (DQ) transform.
  • Error:  "Transform <transform_name>:Option Error(Option: [[BEST_PRACTICE_INPUT_FIELDS/FIELD/DATA_TYPE]]): The option BEST_PRACTICE_INPUT_FIELDS/FIELD/DATA_TYPE is not valid.."
  • Error:  "Transform <transform_name>:Option Error(Option: [[BEST_PRACTICE_INPUT_FIELDS/FIELD/DATA_LENGTH]]): The option BEST_PRACTICE_INPUT_FIELDS/FIELD/DATA_LENGTH is not valid.."
  • Error:  "Transform <transform_name>:Option Error(Option: [[BEST_PRACTICE_INPUT_FIELDS/FIELD/DATA_SCALE]]): The option BEST_PRACTICE_INPUT_FIELDS/FIELD/DATA_SCALE is not valid.."
