Symptom

  • Crystal Report created in Crystal Reports for Enterprise 4 (Cr4E) that is based on universe(unx) connecting to MS Access relational database refresh successfully in Cr4E.
  • However, when the report is published to Business Intelligence 4.0 it fails to be refreshed or scheduled with error message : "

<java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method org.eclipse.emf.common.util.URI.isPlatform() of an object loaded from local variable 'uri'>'. Please contact the maintainer of the data source to solve the problem. (CRS 300003) The data source is invalid: '[]"
