1786344 - SAP Diagnostic Agent installer does not pass the xml prerequisites - Product Type Domain Controller - Installation on domain controllers are not supported

Symptom

  • When installing Diagnostic Agent, the prerequisite checker results in an error with condition "Operating System Version"
  • Message "For SAP Products based on Netweaver 7.30. The following Windows operating system version is supported: Windows Server 2008 (i. e. Version 6.0 and 6.1). Current Windows version: Version 6.0, Service Pack 2.0, product type: Domain Controller. You can check the current version of your operating system by running winver using Start --> Run ... See also http://service.sap.com/platforms --> Product Availability Matrix. (Updated 2010-09-15)"
    At the botom "Installation on domain controllers are not supported"
