Symptom
- XI 3.1 Desktop Intelligence document scheduled with HTML format to File location (Unmanaged Disk).
- The file name for the HTML files are explicitly specified in the schedule and not automatically generated.
- The scheduled instance fails with "destination directory error", with error message in the logs of the format:
"destination directory error. [Failed to copy the file C:/Program Files (x86)/Business Objects/BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0/Data/sia/BOXI31SP5.JobServer/193c74737d14820/DESKIREPORT/ to C:/HTMLOutput/DESKIREPORT/ in file system operation. Please check access rights. Reason given: The process cannot access the file because another process has locked a portion of the file. , copyFile]: []"
or
"destination directory error. [Failed to copy the file C:/Program Files (x86)/Business Objects/BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0/Data/sia/BOXI31SP5.JobServer/193c74737d14820/DESKIREPORT/ to C:/HTMLOutput/DESKIREPORT/ in file system operation. Please check access rights. Reason given: No such file or..directory, copyFile]: []" - Despite the FAILED status of the instance, the HTML is still save to the Unmanaged Disk location
