1789507 - Employee Missing in the Value Help for Org Unit Manager

You have hired an Employee in the system. When you try to assign this employee as an Org Unit Manager for a particular Org Unit, the employee is missing in the value help for Org Unit Manager.

1. Go to Organizational Management work center.
2. Select Edit Org Structures.
3. Highlight an Org Unit.
4. Go to general tab.
5. Select the value help for Org Unit Manager.

Where the newly hired employee is missing.

If the Employee's hire date is DD.MM.YYYY, then this employee is active in the system only on/after DD.MM.YYYY. If you want to assign this employee as a Org Unit manager then, you should set the Effective From as on/after DD.MM.YYYY.

In case of lean HCM system, hire date is equal to creation date of the Employee

So, set the Effective From date as DD.MM.YYYY and then you can able to find the employee in the value help.
