Symptom

While running SLDCHECK from an ABAP system, you may come across to following responses.

   SLDCHECK transaction failed with following error

   RFC destination SAPSLDAPI does not exist
   Create the RFC destination by using transaction SM59!   
   Summary: Connection to SLD does not work
   Check SLD function and configurations

                             OR

   SLDAPICUST transaction test result failed with following error   


   RFC ping returned an exception with message:  
   Error when opening an RFC Connection
