Symptom

  • CST – Error: Operation failed (rc=1) Message no. ICM006
  • Cannot activate the SMTP service in transaction SMICM
  • Receive the error message "Operation failed (rc=1)" - Message number ICM006
  • There is a business need to set the profile parameter rdisp/start_icman to TRUE as per SAP Note 757804 - Cannot process message in SAP system.
