1792371 - Dashboards in PPT format fails to open with Macintosh OS.

Dashboard exported in PPT format in Windows OS, when opened in Macintosh computer fails to execute.

Dashboard design 4.0

1. Open Dashboard design 4.0 in Windows machine.
2. Create a dashboard.
3. Export in PPT format.
4. Try to open this Dashboard in Macintosh computer.
5. Fails to open the dashboard.

An ActiveX control is used to display the Dashboard in PPT format, however this ActiveX is not available on Macintosh computer.

This behavior is by design.

Workaround:

1. Open Dashboard design 4.0 in Windows machine.
2. Create a dashboard.
3. Export in SWF format.
4. Try to open this Dashboard in Macintosh computer in Safari browser.
5. Dashboard opens successfully.
