Symptom

Processing an application fails

"[Admin-ProcessCube] Errors in the metadata manager. Either the dimension with the ID of '[dimension name]' does not exist in the database with the ID of '[appset name]', or the user does not have permissions to access the object. Errors in the metadata manager. The server failed to create the processing schedule, possibly due to concurrent metadata changes."

A very similar error might occur when trying to import data with the only difference being a “…cube with the ID of ‘[application name]’ does not exist…” instead of the dimension name.
