1794970 - The Filter "My Accounts" in the Accounts View Does not Show the Expected Data

Symptom

In the Accounts view under the Account Management workcenter, when selecting the filter My Accounts from the dropdown, the system does not display all of the expected accounts.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Account Management workcenter.
  2. Select the Accounts view.
  3. From the dropdown, Select "My Accounts" in Show field.

The system does not display all of the accounts created by the logged on user.

Cause

The "My Accounts" query does not show the Accounts created by the logged on user, but the Accounts for which the logged on user is directly and indirectly responsible for.

Resolution

This is the expected system behavior.

In order to confirm the filter's criteria, follow the below steps:

  1. Go to the Account Management workcenter.
  2. Select the Accounts view.
  3. Filter for All Accounts.
  4. Click on the Advanced Search Filter.
  5. In the Person Responsible ID field, enter the currently logged on user's ID.

The view will display the same records as the filter "My Accounts", since it filters for the accounts under responsibility of the logged on user.
