1795728 - Error Occurs When Releasing the Production Proposals

When trying to release a Production Proposal , system shows the following error messages :

Production proposal source of supply refers to an invalid REPM
Error during production request ID XX creation
Creation of production request from production proposal failed

SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to the Supply Control work center.
2. Select the Process Production Proposals view.
3. Search for the proposal ID and select the Release button.
4. The system throws the error messages.

As the Production Model for the product has not been released for Planning and Execution, the system was not able to determine the source of supply for the proposal ID which resulted in error.

In order to release the Production Proposal release the production model first.

The following steps explain how to release the Production Model:

1. Go to the Planning and Production Master Data work center.
2. Select the Production Models view.
3. Select the corresponding Production Model ID and select the Edit button.
4. In the opened window, press on the Check Consistency button and check the execution consistency status.
5. Then select the Released Production Model button and choose the option For Planning and Execution.
6. This will release the production model for execution.
7. Later, release the production proposal without any error messages.
