Contracts are not available to be selected in the New Service Request.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Service Desk work center.
  2. Select New Service Request under Common Tasks.
  3. Add the account ABC (ABC represents the ID of the service request).
  4. Add other mandatory details like Sales Unit.
  5. Select the View All button and go to the General tab -> More Information subtab.
  6. No data available in the Value Help for the field Reference Contract Item.

However you have already created contracts for the account ABC:

  1. Go to the Service Entitlement work center.
  2. Go to the Contracts view.
  3. Select the Contracts subview.
  4. Search for the contracts created for the account ABC.
  5. You can find contracts are already available.


In the Service Request the system proposes items only from those Contracts that have entitled product items.

  1. Go to the Service Entitlement work center.
  2. Go to the Contracts view.
  3. Select the Contracts subview.
  4. Create a new contract XYZ for the account ABC and add an Entitled product in it (XYZ represents the ID of the contract).
  5. Save the contract.

Now the contract will be available for selection in the service request created for the account ABC
