1796922 - How to mark archive sessions for deletion by the BC_ARCHIVE object

Symptom

  • There are archiving sessions in the system - either valid or invalid - that need to be removed from ADK administration.
  • BC_ARCHIVE archiving object should be used for this purpose.
  • The appropriate archive sessions must be marked for deletion before the BC_ARCHIVE object is executed.
  • BC_ARCHIVE works like any other Archive object, so once you have the archive files marked as "To be Archived" you first run the Write Step choosing the archive object whose Administration data you would like to remove from SARA => Management.
Then run the Delete step to remove the data. Please review the following documentation for BC_ARCHIVE
