1797845 - LCM jobs with publications do not compute dependencies correctly resulting in failure when promoted

Symptom

  • Promotion Management jobs (LCM) with publications based on WebIntelligence (webi) reports fail when promoted
  • While creating the job, adding objects does not compute dependencies correctly
  • Even creating a job with a single publication retrieves thousands of other reports and publications as dependencies instead of just 5 or 6 known dependencies
  • Performance is found to be very slow while adding objects at times failing with a time out
  • In some cases, jobs end up with partial success, with several objects failing with errors such as:
    • Must create object under its defined root folder
    • Failure : The property list(s) SI_PUBLICATION_DOCUMENTS committed on the object named  with id number 90309 contained reference(s) to non-existant object(s) with id number(s) 89855.The server supplied the following details: Objects being added to relation does not exist
