1800718 - Master data delta extraction fails or misses records

Symptom

You notice at least one of the following behaviors when running a delta extraction with a master data DataSource:

  • The following error occurs on BW side when requesting a delta repeat:
    "Requesting the last delta for master data is not supported
    Message no. RSM792"
  • Delta extraction returns 0 records even though there are pending updates for the message type (MESTYPE) that corresponds to the DataSource in table BDCP2.
  • In case of ODP scenario, the following error returns:
    "Error while extracting data: DataSource xxxxxxxx, package 000000
    Error in data extraction (extractor RSA3_GEN_GET_DATA)"
