Symptom
You defined the Shopping Cart Approval Process using: Approval by Cost Center Manager by Project and Cost Center Manager Value Limit. However no approver can be determined for the shopping carts and the approval task remains unassigned.
Reproducing the Issue
In the work center Home, submit a shopping cart with cost assignment on a cost center or project. Then verify that the cost center manager or project manager does not receive the approval task.
Cause
In Shopping Cart Approvals, the Work Distribution "Approval by Cost Center Manager by Project and Cost Center Manager Value Limit" was designed specifically for one of our customer. Furthermore, it was designed in order to be used as a second step in the approval process, the first step being the Work Distribution "Approval by Cost Assignment".
Resolution
You can change the Work Distribution to Approval by "Cost Assignment" or else for the Shopping Cart Approval Process.
