1807248 - Cannot open Excel files after installing Xcelsius

Symptom

After the live office installation, when we open any excel sheets, the sheets are not opened but only the excel application opens. We have to again drag and drop the excel sheet into the application for it to open.

Environment

Business Objects XI 3.0/3.1
SAP BusinessObjects BI4

Reproducing the Issue

1) Install BO client tool, Xcelsius and live office with MS office 2007
2) Double click on excel which already present
3) The sheets are not opened but only the excel application opens
4) Drag and drop the excel sheet into the application for it to open.

Resolution

The solution to avoid this problem in MS EXCEL 2007 is going in
OPTION -> Advanced -> removing the flag:
'Ignore other applications the use Dynamic Data Exchange'
