1813649 - "Windowed aggregates not allowed in a GROUP BY clause. (IES 10901)" when using DENSE_RANK() function in a Netezza based universe

Symptom

  • Getting the following error when refreshing a WebI report on a Netezza based universe- "database Error: ERROR:Windowed aggregates not allowed in a GROUP BY clause. (IES 10901)"
  • Incorrect GROUP BY clause gets generated in the SQL.
  • It works fine with a Oracle based universe.
