1813864 - CMC and BILaunchpad are unavailable post upgrade to BI 4.0 SP05 Patch 2

Symptom

  • After upgrading SAP software version from SAP BI 4.0 SP02 to BI 4.0 SP05 Patch 2, HTTP 404 Error is displayed while trying to access BOE/CMC or BOE/BI web applications. AdminTools URL comes up just fine.
  • When trying to deploy the BOE web application via Tomcat Manager, following error is displayed :  "FAIL - Application at context path /BOE could not be started".
