Symptom

  • In SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence BI 4.0 User gets error: "Specified RDBMS is Invalid" while testing a connection  
  • This happens only with one connection other connection to the same database works fine
  • Also if the user logs in to different system he is able to test the connection
