  • Named Pipes protocol enabled
  • Performance issue viewing data
  • Long delay before data grid appears
  • localhost was used for database server name
  • Different error appears if Named Pipes protocol disabled
  • Error: ODBC call <SQLDriverConnect> for data source <0.0.0.0> failed: <[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0]Named Pipes Provider: Could not open a connection to SQL Server [1214]. >. Notify Customer Support.
