Symptom

Business requirement:

  • The mobile application in the PDA/handheld/laptop/phone should be able to determine what screen/logic to show/process based on the user who logged in or which database to get the data from or others
  • To be able to do this type of flow or any smart application with similar results, the mobile application should be able to get the database connection name, database connection user ID and database connection password
  • From the retrieved data, the mobile client can be designed to have enable rules that determines the correct logic and screen to be processed

Questions:

  • Is there a feature in Agentry wherein the dbConnectionName, dbConnectionUserID and dbConnectionPassword can be accessed during transmit?
  • Is there an Agentry flunky (internal variable) or function that returns the value of "dbConnectionName", "dbConnectionUserID" and "dbConnectionPassword"?
