1817361 - BI 4.0: When using the value [EMPTY_VALUE] automatically assigned to blank values by Webi, no data is returned.

Symptom

  • Using [EMPTY_VALUE] in Web Intelligence prompts returns no data.
  • The SQL generated translates [EMPTY_VALUE] as (''), i.e. no space.
  • If space character is manually entered, then data is returned. The SQL generated uses (' '), i.e. with space.
