1818780 - How to troubleshoot BI Platform SLD data supplier issues when BI4 landscape is not successfully updated in the System Landscape Directory or LMDB


  • In the BI Platform, the Server Intelligence Agent (SIA) is responsible for updating the System Landscape Directory
  • The SIA will execute the BOBJ-SLD-DS (BOBJ SLD Data Supplier) application whenever it is stopped, started, or when a server is added to the SIA node (via the CMC) 
  • After the XML payload is generated by the BOBJ SLD Data Supplier application, it is uploaded to the System Landscape Directory via the sldreg program
  • The BI Platform landscape information in SLD is automatically synchronized to LMDB every 15 to 30 minutes via the SAP_LMDB_LDB job

How do you troubleshoot the SLD data supplier when the BI Platform 4.0 landscape is not properly updated in SLD or Landscape Management Database (LMDB)?
