1818823 - System Landscape Directory data supplier fails to execute on a BI Platform 4.0 system with java.lang.NullPointerException

Symptom

  • It was discovered that the System Landscape Directory (SLD) was not being updated after changes were made to the BI Platform 4.0 server topology.
  • After manually executing bobjsldds it was discovered that the following exception is thrown after CMS logon:
java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method 
com.businessobjects.sdk.plugin.desktop.common.IConfigProperty.getValue() of an object loaded from local variable 'configProp'
