1818926 - Scheduling Webi report fails with the error "Sorry, you do not have the right to 'Edit objects' (ID:6) for [report name]" when the scheduling user does not have "Edit Object" right.

Symptom

  • Scheduling webi report fails when the right "Edit objects” is removed from the scheduling user.
  • In SP04 Patch9 (as well as SP04 Patch 4), for webi format and CSV format, instances are successfully generated.  For PDF and EXCEL format, schedule fails with the below error: "Sorry, you do not have the right to 'Edit objects' (ID:6) for [report name]. Please contact..your administrator if you require this right."
  • In SP05 Patch2, for CSV format, instances are successfully generated.  For WEBI, PDF and EXCEL format, schedule fails with the below error:"Sorry, you do not have the right to 'Edit objects' (ID:6) for [report name]. Please contact..your administrator if you require this right."
