Symptom
The Following issue occur when you define the Trip number range in transaction PR10:
- Gaps (jumps) occur when allocating internal numbers.
- The status of the number range interval does not match the number that was last assigned.
- The number assignment does not reflect the insert sequence.
For the number range objects RP_REINR, gaps may cause users to have doubts since they are 'expecting' a sequential numbering.
