If a BI4 server has a corrupt or missing property the BOBJ SLD Data Supplier will fail with a java.lang.NullPointerException. 

For example:

java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method com.businessobjects.sdk.plugin.desktop.common.IConfigProperty.getValue() of an object loaded from local variable
