1829703 - WDA MSS reporting dumps with UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION

Symptom

When starting the WebDynpro ABAP based MSS Reporting Launchpad and get an UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION dump.

The dump information in transaction ST22 shows the following error:

Category ABAP Programming Error
Runtime Errors UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION
Except. CX_URL
ABAP Program CL_APB_LPD_START_APPL_BROWSER=CP

Error analysis

An exception has occurred which is explained in more detail below. The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_URL' was not caught and therefore caused a runtime error. The reason for the exception is:
The SM59 alias "SAP_ECC_HumanResources" (or "SAP_ECC_HumanResources_HTTP" or "SAP_ECC_HumanResources_HTTPS") is invalid or not of destination type "H".
