1. Open transaction SOLMAN_SETUP
2. Goto Managed Systems Configuration
3. Step 11 Check Configuration
4. Click Edit
5. Click Execute Selected
   
   
   
   Click link Show
   
   

The technical system definition in Landscape Management Database (LMDB) is incorrect.

1. Open transaction SOLMAN_SETUP
2. Goto Managed Systems Configuration
3. Goto Step 1 Select Product
4. Click Display Technical System Software
   
   

The definition in LMDB is incorrect as core Software Components like SAP BASIS are missing



The Installed flag for SAP BASIS 7.00 must be set.

1. Check the correct maintenance of the product in the Landscape Management Database (LMDB) according to wiki page Maintenance of Product in the System Landscape
2. For example in case you have an SAP ERP 6.0 system please check section SAP ERP 6.0 & EhPx for ERP 6.0 - the following product version must be set to Diagnostics Relevant
   
   
3. Also check the System Landscape Directory (SLD) and the Component Repository (CR)-Content Version of your SLD:
   If the CR Content is not up to date update it according to SAP note 669669. Then register the system in SLD again.
   This will update the software component information in LMDB (if required).
