1831798 - Incorrect Group Outlines when exporting a report with groups, to MS Excel Data-only format, from Crystal Reports

• Group Outlines not right.
• Incorrect Group Outlines when exporting a report from Crystal Reports to MS Excel Data-only format.

• SAP Crystal Reports 2008

• Microsoft Excel 

1. In Crystal Reports, create a report off any data source.
2. Insert a couple of database fields in the details section of the report.
3. Insert at least one group on the report.
4. Under the menu “Insert”, select “Group”
5. In the “Insert Group” window, select a database fields to group by and click “OK”
6. Export the report to MS Excel Data-Only format, and check the option “Show group outlines”
7. Under the menu “File”, select “Export – Export Report”
8. In the “Export” window, select the exporting format: “Microsoft Excel (97-2003) Data-only”, and click "OK" 
    
   
        
9. In the “Excel Format Options” window, check the option “Show group outlines”, and click “OK”
      
   
     
10. Open the report in MS Excel, and notice the outline is incorrect.
