1833827 - Access Rights Required for Project Purchase Requests Approvals

The user is trying to maintain an employee as an additional direct Approver for Project Purchase Requests. However the employee is not listed in the selection.

or

The Project Purchase Request approval task cannot be directly assigned to the employee (the expected responsible as per the approval process).

SAP Business ByDesign 

1. Go to Application and User Management work center.
2. Go to Task Distribution view.
3. Go to Business Task Management sub view.
4. Select the approval task.
5. Click on Assign Item button.
6. Search for the employee ID. 

System shows "No Record Found". 

This is happening because of the work centers assigned to the employee. 

The access rights for the affected employee must be checked under the Application and User Management work center.

The required views to be able to process Project Purchase Request Approvals are:

• FIN_COSTANDREVENUE
• FIN_PROJECTS
• MMA_MANAGINGMYAREA
• MMA_MYPROJECTS
• PRO_PROJECTMANAGEMENT
• PRO_PROJECTS

IMPORTANT: Make sure there are no restrictions. The Write Access must be enabled for these views.

Those work centers can be assigned to the employee by following the steps below:
