Symptom

  • In BI 4 there are specific directories where the TrustedPrincipal.conf file need to be place in order to achieve Single Sign On (SSO) via Trusted Authentication.
  • There may be a need to place the TrustedPrincipal.conf file in a location other than the default location the BusinessObjects SDK will look.
  • For example, a stand alone Tomcat server may have been installed without using the BusinessObjects install media and the BusinessObjects install directories may not exist.
