Symptom

Equipment cannot be changed or displayed (Transaction IE02/IE03) due to error

No status object is available for EQU (Equipment No.)
Message No. BS001

The issue can also affect loading an associated Serial Number (Transaction IH08).
The user is presented with the error:

System: Status object does not exist
Message No. IW351
