1835475 - How to enable agent error monitoring in Solution Manager

You are looking for a possibility to monitor errors that occur in diagnostics agents.

SAP Solution Manager 7.1 and higher

Each agent intercepts all log records with log level Error and pushes them to Solution Manager Java stack.
You can enable an alert for the diagnostics agents that will push all errors from the diagnostics agent to Solution Manager in real time.

• Open transaction SM_WORKCENTER and go to:
  
   - Solution Manager Administration
    - Infrastructure
     - Framework
      - Agent Framework
       - Agent Admin
        - All Agents

        or use shortcut http://<host>:<port>/smd/AgentAdmin

• Open tab Agent Error Monitoring
• Set option Self-diagnostics to monitor agent errors to On
