Symptom

  • The startsap and stopsap script is not able to start or stop DB
  • In stopsap log, no errors being reported.
  • In startsap log, see the following:

Starting SAP-Collector Daemon
Cannot create Shared Memory
Start of saposcol failed

  •  The database can be manually started
