1837944 - Combo box drop down does not allow selection on a touch screen mobile device.

Symptom

  • Unable to select options from Combo box drop down list on a touch screen device.
  • Combo box drop down list is pulled back when attempt to select any option.

Environment

  • Dashboards Design 4.0.
  • Xcelsius 2008.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open a dashboard on a touch screen mobile device that contains combo box component.
  2. Tap on the combo box to expand the dropdown list.
  3. The drop down list can be expanded but is pulled back at once.

Cause

  • This issue has been logged as bug under ADAPT01563515.

Resolution

For Xcelsius 2008:

This issue is fixed in Xcelsius 2008 SP4 FP1 and also in SP5.

　

For Dashboards Design:

The issue was not reproduced on Dashboards Design 4.0 SP05.
