When migrating material valuation data, the error occurs like Material XYZ not assigned for Company AAA and Business Residence BBB or Valuation Data Missing for Material XYZ Business Residence BBB

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Configuration work center
2. Go to Implementation Projects view
3. Select the project and click Open Activity List
4. Open activity Migration of Material Valuation Data
5. Click the link of Migrate materials using the migration tool
6. Select file and click Execute migration->Execute migration step by step
7. Error occurs: Material XYZ not assigned for Company AAA and Business Residence BBB or Valuation Data Missing for Material XYZ Business Residence BBB.

Materials have to be assigned for company and business residence before migrating the valuation data.

To upload information of company and business residence, use the tab Financial Organization in the migration object Materials. Populate only this tab and upload the file using the migration mode Enhance already existing records. (Find this setting when you mark your template in the file list and navigate to Properties -> Advanced -> Migration Mode.)
