Symptom

  • Clicking on Promotion management link in CMC shows a blank page
  • The issue started occuring after an upgrade from SP02 to SP04 patch level
  • CMC Web application trace shows following error message "Login to LCM Failed. Please check you have sufficient rights to perform LCM operations."
  • All the symptoms are identical to as described in SAP kbase 1747418 - Login to LifeCycle Manage Failed/Promotion Management displays a blank page
  • The LCM Folder is there - however the Promotion Jobs subfolder is missing
  • Running CreateLCMFolders.bat returns following output : Promotion Jobs "Folder already exists with different parentid"
