1840612 - In SCC Enabling Scheduled Task Fails with An Unknown Server Error Has Occurred message

Symptom

Trying to enable scheduled tasks for server clean up in the Sybase Control Center (SCC) and get the following error when clicking on the “Enable” button for any of the tasks:

An unknown server error has occurred. Please check log for details.

The C:\Sybase\SCC-3_2\log\gateway.log file contains the following error:
