1840735 - Universe Security on object in Universe Designer tool in Business Objects Enterprise 3.1

Symptom

  • User U1 is a part of two groups: G1 and G2.
  • G1 has view access as granted on one of the universe objects whereas G2 has view access as denied on the same universe object.
  • The restriction created for G1 is assigned lower priority; still the user U1 is not able to view the object.
  • If the lowest priority is assigned to G2 then also U1 is not able to view the object.
  • The priority on the restrictions does not get applied on the universe object.
