When a dashboard has been exported to PowerPoint, the end user must run the PowerPoint Slideshow in order to view the dashboard. This is sometimes confusing on the end user side as they will not know that the dashboard must be viewed as a slideshow presentation.
An Dashboard exported to Microsoft PowerPoint is saved by default as a .ppt file.
When a .ppt file is opened, Powerpoint opens in the default design mode and the dashboard is not viewable until viewed as a slideshow.
Open the Powerpoint .ppt file.
Save the document as .pps
Double click on the .pps file.
Powerpoint will launch as a slideshow presentation.
Optionally, Rename the .ppt file directly as .pps
