1843538 - Common issue with variable/selection/filter screen F4 value

Case 1: “Characteristic <info Object> has no Master Data for <Technical ID>” and Value " " does not exist; enter a different value
Case 2: Try to add a wildcard entry in the direct input text field getting error message "The entered value <XXX> is not valid"
Case 3: Scroll bar appears in selection screen.
Case 4: Calling F4 help will show line item values like '???' or null pointer exception occurs.
Case 5: The system displays all attributes when you call the input help to select both hierarchy nodes and single values.
Case 6: Variable entry * displayed as \*,  example XX-* is displayed as XX-\*
Case 7: Initial drilldown open huge hierarchies.
Case 8: Variable description/text is truncated.
Case 9: Two Rows are skipped while using vertical page scrolling.
Case 10: Error message "Maximum Records allowed 1000".
Case 11: Unable to display the long text or medium text for hierarchy nodes.
Case 12: F4 help text not working properly.
Case 13: Executing the query after applying the java patch, results in "Unknown Error" when pressing F4.
Case 14: Variable Screen: OK button needs to be clicked twice to get the result set.
