Symptom

Running the Web Application  using the following format for passing variable selections inside URL  when using SAP BW 7.0 does not work as required :

http://<server>:<port>/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fcom.sap.pct!2fplatform_add_ons!2fcom.sap.ip.bi!2fiViews!2fcom.sap.ip.bi.bex?TEMPLATE=<template_name>&DUMMY=0&VAR_NAME_1=<variable_name_1>&VAR_VALUE_EXT_1=<var_value_1>

 Running this URL do not take the parameter into account and displays all data.
