1845008 - What is the meaning of Approved status "Not Started" in Employee Times reports?


You are running one of the Employee Times reports or any customized report based on data source HCMTLMU01.

You display the characteristic Approved in the report.

You notice a row with status Not Started for this field and would like to understand its meaning.


The approval status Not Started is derived from the Employee Time Item and means that the approval was not started as the employee time was entered by the time administrator and therefore activated directly. Hence this status indicates that the employee time is active.

Also, customer created a time recording through the ESS timesheet and then activated it through the Time administration Workcenter. Hence, the backend will still show that the time recording was done through the ESS Timesheet.
