Symptom
- SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.0 deployment of Web Intelligence.
- A working Web Intelligence document reporting off of a UNV Universe connected to SAP BAPI (BW) connection.
- The document has detail variables with associated dimensions defined.
- Web Intelligence Rich Client or Web Intelligence Rich Internet Application used to Change Source to a SAP BEx query.
- After objects have been mapped, the following error is observed"Associated dimension is not a dimension."
- The stack trace indicates the exception is raised when Variables are being updated:
java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: Associated dimension is not a dimension.
