1847114 - Dashboards URL - initializing message

The Dashboard is stuck in Initializing more after some time.

• SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Suite 4.0 Support Package 4
• Dashboard 4.0 Support Package 4

1) Create a Dashboard and publish to BI launchpad.
2) Launch the Dashboard randomly, after some time let say 30-40minutes, the dashboard freezes with Initializing mode.
3) When accessing Dashboards with OpenDoc URL  and after typing in the username/password. a box appeared with "initializing" but the page would not load, past that screen.Via the CMC, restart the DashboardDesignCacheServe and DashboardDesignProcessingServer
4) Now the Dashboard URL returned information for about 30-60 minutes. After than the URL stopped working again and it stopped at “the initializing screen again”.

The issue has been reported as a bug with SAP Business Objects with Problem Report ID ADAPT01658537. It has been targeted to get fixed with BI 4.0 SP05 patch1.
